Protecting Our Children

Crowding In the T-E Schools

Many of us have either preschoolers or school-age children in the Tredyffrin–Easttown. Others are old-time graduates of the T-E system.  All of us are proud of the fine reputation the district has earned. We appreciate how good schools enhance the quality of life for everyone in the township.

According to the T – E district, our school enrollment has reached the breaking point.

If enrollment continues to grow, elementary schools will need to be realigned and new schools will need to be built.

We believe it is bad planning and bad policy for the township to promote zoning changes that will allow for large, high-density apartment building. Such development will only cause further strain on the school system; no countervailing need for such development in the township has ever been shown.
